The E.V.A. valve head automatically adjusts to the respective valve type. The E.V.A. technology (Easy Valve Access) uses an internal seal that deforms when the clamping lever is flipped. This enables the valve head to reliably seal different diameters and to be used for Presta, Dunlop and Schrader valves.
When placed onto a Schrader valve, the valve in the pump head pushes a pressure sleeve downwards. This moves an internal mechanism into position, which activates the valve pin. This allows air to flow through the valve and into the tyre.
When the clamping lever is flipped, the seal is compressed so that the valve is securely sealed and the tyre can be inflated.
